YOG teaches people to try their best at everything they do but not only this but it teaches people that no matter weather you win lose people do not respect you for the amount of gold medals you WIN BUT PEOPLE RESPECT YOU FOR HOW MUCH EFFORT YOU PUT IN AND HOW YOU PUSH YOURSELF OVER BOARD FOR WHAT YOU WANT.there are people who push themselves so hard. Striving for the best does not mean just striving to win it means giving it all you have. Nothing is perfect in the world , that is why we strive for excellence in everything
we do.
Respect:
YOG teaches us to respect our fellow species Mankind and that we should respect ourselves,to respect others, as well as rules and regulations, and to respect the environment. In relation to sport,keeping true to one’s integrity, engaging in fair play and fighting against competitors looking at all angles of views to respect to other people as people may not think the way you do and no matter win or lose, sportsmanship is a part of respect . respect and have a good firm hand shake no matter who wins or who lose even if you are the last.

YOG is trying to build a peaceful and better world through sport , building on team spirit, joy and optimism. To promote sport as an opportunity for teamwork and mutual understanding among individuals from all over the world despite their differences. No matter what background poor or rich, good or bad on the field they are all equal giving the people in the worst backgrounds a opportunity to strive for what they want.
